Stop Dreaming and Start Doing: A Conference for Aspiring Writers

This conference is for writers who are working on a specific project or just beginning their writing life. Topics in the morning sessions will include Tips to Enhance Your Writing Life, Technology to Support Your Writing Life, M.A.R.K.E.T.I.N.G. for Writers. The afternoon sessions will cover aspects of publishing: traditional opportunities, self-publishing successfully and technological tools to help you publish. There will be plenty of time for Q&A!

Instructors are: Melissa Morrow, Bear Mills and Rosa Walston Latimer.To ensure that attendees gain full benefit we are limiting the number of participants to 15. Plains Trail Gathers in Post

Representatives from the 52-county Texas Plains Trail Region held their annual Roundup in Post Monday and Tuesday, August 15 and 16. The event was hosted by the Caprock Cultural Association; however, several other local organizations helped make the meetings a success including Post City Celebrations, Inc.; the Post Area Chamber of Commerce; the City of Post; Garza County and the Garza Theatre.
